INNOPROM in Tashkent: successful debut

The first international exhibition “INNOPROM. The Big Industrial Week in Uzbekistan", which took place in Tashkent at the NEC Uzexpocentre, is over. In three days, the exhibition was attended by over 10,000 visitors from all countries of Central Asia. More than 1,000 companies from the Uzbek side and more than 300 companies from the Russian side took part in the exhibition and business program.

The Russian-Uzbek Interregional Forum has become a new effective format for INNOPROM: the exhibition hosted 13 Russian and 14 Uzbek participant regions. # nbsp;   Governors and hokims agreed to develop interregional contacts in the periods between annual exhibitions.

During the event, Russian and Uzbek partners have signed 21 agreements worth $128 million. # nbsp;   More than 50 Russian exhibitors have confirmed their interest in participating in the exhibition next year. # nbsp;   “The agreements signed at INNOPROM with Uzbek partners confirm our dynamically developing trade and economic relations with Uzbekistan. I am sure that new and ambitious projects will be formed by the next exhibition,” says Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

“The Uzbek-Russian economic partnership can be much larger and develop on the basis of complementarity and effective cooperation. There are a lot of fields for cooperation with Uzbekistan. As never before, the digitalization of economies, the accelerated introduction of high technologies and innovations, the strengthening of industrial ties and the development of international cooperation are becoming relevant for our countries. We offer a reliable system of state support for industrial development, which provides a number of benefits and advantages, including the issuance of soft loans,” said Sardor Umurzakov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan.

“The results of the exhibition confirm the right choice of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation for holding the first foreign INNOPROM: The Republic of Uzbekistan is of great interest to Russian companies, many of which have found partners for themselves. # nbsp;   Our first pancake definitely did not come out lumpy," concluded Anton Atrashkin, Program Director of INNOPROM.
